2015, New Year, New Stuff, Insane adventure!

I know I have been away for the longest time.
Prolly close to 6 months.(I guess?)

OK....OK...

Here's my Press Statement.

Press Release:
The writer of The D inside Me,is Back!
After a freaking long hiatus, I am back.
Not only I will be writing in future, I would like to introduce this significant partner in crime, who will be joining me,hand in hand to fill this space, with interesting stuff and documenting our adventures, our fun moments, facepalm moments, and all sorts of moment.

STACEY! (cues Introduction Music, shines spotlight on her)
Helloooo fans of The D inside Me!!!!
I am an advocate of making a difference by day, a writer and dreamer by night. Graduated with a Communications Degree, I thought the power is in me to rule the working world. I was so wrong. Economy is tight, jobs are almost scarce for the graduates as employers hold back pay raise and cut down on employment.. Nevertheless, after going a good half a year around the corporate world, I am back in the Social Service sector serving the minority of our sunny island.😊  Despite the different work environment, crazy traffic jams from my hse to workplace, I am one who feels blessed everyday to be able to create that difference in someone's life.

A picture speaks a thousand words. Haha so I'll let the picture do the talking for this post while my new found Picasso smile to himself to sleep. Kudos!

After Visit: Teochew Festival 2014

As a half Teochew blood, this urge has brought me to come and realise my root about my dialect.
Yes,you got me,I am considered a half Teochew( My dad's a Henghua, my mom's a Teochew, and I have been living under the influence of Teochew culture)
In conjunction of Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan clan association's 85 Anniversary celebration, the association decided to organize a massive scale exhibition to raise the awareness on the dialect group.

"Teochew Lang, Kah Ki Lang", meaning "People who are of the same dialect,is one big family" are  the common words that we will hear from everyone of Teochew dialect.

So...What is Teochew ?

It's been 1 year and 5 months...

Looking at my last post listing...It has been a year and 5 months...
That is an equivalent of  around 500 odd days since my last post.

I have received a number of questions...

When is my next post going to happen?
Am I giving up?
Have I gave up on the blog?
Why haven't I update it?

Fret not.
I am making this announcement, that after the 2 years of conscription.
I AM COMING BACK!
I have not given up
I have not stopped.

It has been a good 500 days of retreat.
Perhaps like "500 days of Summer"
I have been busy with what majority of the guys will go through.
It was a beautiful and meaningful retreat.

Thank you for following.
I will be looking forward to bring you more good stuff and more meaningful entries.
(Most importantly,giving a quality post.)

Start your day with McDonald's

In conjunction with the National breakfast Day,McDonald's gave 1000 egg McMuffins to members of public in its 121 outlets islandwide in Singapore on 18 March 2013,between breakfast hours from 5am to 10am.

At 8am, the outlet that I decided to drop by in Tow Payoh, gave its 1000th Egg McMuffins,as a mark to end its giveaways. That is a whooping 3 hours.

Upon the 1000th McMuffins given away, the staff were celebrating and cheering in their workstations.

A great campaign to start off the day with,to spread the awareness on the importance of having breakfast.

Having said so, McDonald's will be introducing a series of New breakfast into their menu from tomorrow onwards. So do keep a lookout!

I am back!

My Apologies for missing without notice since November 2012.

I was busy preparing for National Service in Singapore, from the typical Basic Military Training to posting to course and now, into unit.

So, how's my army life...
Surviving well like normal days, with a few periods from adapting to environment.
Everyday is an interesting experience for me.
4 months on...alive and kicking.
After all, it's the service that every Singaporeans' Son has to go through.

Hope that I can find time to whip out some stuff for the blog soon.
Check back soon!
