By the invitation of Festive Films,I am proud to catch this cool flick with my girl (Yes,this time is with my girl.)
Personal matter aside, this romance comedy is indeed a must catch flick,evolving the story of a cursed guy and his ex girlfriends.

About the Film

Julien Monnier has a serious problem. He may be a brilliant marriage guidance counsellor, but he can never manage to have a steady relationship for more than two weeks. And for good reason: since he was very young, Julien has brought bad luck to every woman who has fallen in love with him. Really bad luck. Luck that obliges you to go to hospital several times a week, that ruins your professional life, or causes you to fall out with family and friends for a lifetime. Julien is a total black cat where women are concerned. Joanna Sorini will quickly learn this at her own cost the day she crosses paths with him. A career that is taking off, a love life that seemed to at last take a good turn; all of this risks changing drastically.

My movie section has been offline for some time.(Partly because of my busy commitments.)
But yet, I just caught this interesting film.

Normally when a Romantic film, in a theatre you will see hoards of Couples cuddling and catch the film together. But for me, I decided to catch it with a friend of mine.

About the story
Due to her unique ‘sense’, Yu-ri (Son Ye-jin) is unable to live a normal life or even think about dating anyone. One day, cupid’s arrow strikes a horror magician with frail ‘guts’, Jo-gu (Lee Min-Ki), to fall for Yu-ri. Their sweet dating game turns into a sheer nightmare with ghosts blocking in the way of their happiness. Although Yu-ri is used to it, Jo-gu is terrified and feels his life threatened. Despite the spine-chilling stumbling blocks, Yu-ri and Jo-gu cannot give up on their love and put up the fight of their lives to keep it.

Reason behind this gift:

A constant reminder to myself to this artist,who used gunpowders as part of his drawing material for his art works.(Remember seeing his work,Heads On, in my then-common hangout,now-workplace in 2010),and constantly reminded and used as a reference to my case files.

To commemorate his solo exhibition at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art in Doha,Qatar. Cai Guo Qiang: Saraab is a journey of personal and artistic discovery that demonstrates the emotional breadth of Cai's work,from the intimate to the spectacular.Inspired by the multi-layered history of the artist's hometown,and illuminate the long-standing but little known relationship between China and the Arab world dating back to the ancient maritime Silk Road.
