Ma! I am on the net!

It has been a great pleasure to have a photo be up on a international website.
(Especially a web that I popped by everyday.)
You must be thinking, which photo is it?

Having to shoot more than 10 rolls of films, finally a photo that was selected to be on lomography.sg Photo of the Day for 11 May 2012.Indeed it is a great pleasure and feeling honored to have been selected.

It is also one of my recent favorite after collecting my prints.

This is the image!

Shot using my 1st Lomography Camera, which is my Holga on a Sunny Sunday along Changi City Point.
Film used: Lomography Black Earl 400 ISO 120 Film.

The Webpage.

Particularly looking at the Flamingo sculpture and shot it.Perhaps simple, but yet intrigued by a number of friends around me.Glad to share the news and hope for more photos to be up on the page more often.

To More Photos ahead!

Unboxing:Lomography's Special Edition: Diana F x Cai Guo Qiang

It was my payday...and decided to get a graduation gift for myself.
So what have I got for myself?
Lomography x Cai Guo Qiang : Diana F+

Reason behind this gift:
A constant reminder to myself to this artist, who used gunpowders as part of his drawing material for his art works.(Remember seeing his work,Heads On, in my then-common hangout,now-workplace in 2010),and constantly reminded and used as a reference to my case files.

To commemorate his solo exhibition at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art in Doha,Qatar. Cai Guo Qiang: Saraab is a journey of personal and artistic discovery that demonstrates the emotional breadth of Cai's work, from the intimate to the spectacular.Inspired by the multi-layered history of the artist's hometown, and illuminate the long-standing but little known relationship between China and the Arab world dating back to the ancient maritime Silk Road.

The Spinner 360 Motorizer is an add on accessory where you can shoot 360° panoramas via remote control.
It works anywhere from 5-8m in an unobstructed space.

Lomography lab proudly presents: LomoKino, the first Lomo Moving Image Camera!

Say Hello to the first Lomo Movie Camera
Lomo, the company that resurrected its light-leaking, plastic fantastic 35mm film cameras from Soviet-era Russia, has now added a movie camera to its lineup.
Called the Lomokino, the hand-cranked camera also shoots on 35mm film, and thanks to its low framerate and non-full-frame captures, it manages to squeeze 144 frames onto a single 36-exposure roll. That’s enough for about 50 seconds of shooting.

Specs-wise, the camera has a variable aperture that runs steplessly from ƒ5.6 to ƒ11. The shutter speed is 1/100sec, the frame rate is 3-5 fps and the lens is a fixed 25mm.
To view the results, you’ll want to pick up the companion Lomokinoscope, which lets you crank the processed film to see it. Or you could ask your photo lab not to cut the film, then scan it yourself and feed it to your movie-editing software of choice.
*I swear I got to get this!*
