About the film
Ah Kiao, a girl from Yong Peng, Malaysia loves Singapore’s celebrities and dreams to be like them. She decides to follow her dreams and embarks on a journey in search of stardom in Singapore. Her adventures range from trying to become a model to becoming an extra in a local drama serial. Along the way, she gets side-tracked by a handsome but shy coffeeshop helper, Ah Seng, who understands her dreams without her having to utter a single word.
This is a story of hopes and dreams, seemingly light-hearted but not without moments of vulnerability and emotion, with a message of truth and heart to anyone who's ever wished upon a star.
