Was checking out a news on omy and found something interesting
I have a not-so-good impression of 瑤瑤 in the past, underestimating her wits and thought she's a moron in a way or another...but after this incident,I think that she has brains after all.
In the news, she mentioned :
"我们整个剧组演员都是台湾人,不需要靠韩国人."
But have anyone thought what exactly happened before she made the comment.
From the show...
"網友:台灣人都不懂看好戲!
這麼好的演員和戲都不支持!"
Hence it sparked the controversial section in the news.I would say...from the point of view of an outsider...
As a writer from Singapore, none were at wrong. But instead the one who started the comment is more at wrong for making such remark. If assuming that the feedback from the starter is a supporter of the band, then I would say it's a biased and a selfish remark.
I have watched both shows, coincidentally aired from the same channel.
華麗的挑戰,or skip beat has not impressed me after watching for the first time.
Whereas,小資女孩向前衝,or Office Girl has got me interested not because of the casts, but because of the story plot.
Different dramas has its different group of audience and target group.
It's like one's specially meant for Idol fans, and the other is more for a different audience.
If Taiwan doesn't appreciate good dramas or show, there wouldn't be dramas like 愛 or 娘家 aired in Singapore and a strong group of supporters appreciating the shows.
Hence my stand is I agree that to 瑤瑤's statement.
This applies same to the local media provider.
Remembering the days where locals support our local media channel?
It's because we have dramas that are good in plots.
Having an idol cast is just a secondary factor of a drama.
I would say I have stopped watching local channels for years because of the quality of the drama, and instead watching dramas from other asian channel, mainly for their consistency of the story plot and its progression.
In this saga, I managed to see the unity of the Taiwanese Production and I ought to give them a word for that!
The word is RESPECT
When 瑶瑶 made that statement, the first person to stand up is Producer of the drama.
Saying that she don't have to apologise,he taught her everything and if he deserves to be reprimanded,he will be responsible.
I give all my Respect to him and inspired from him.
