Toi Hee Thursday: Happy Feet 2

Spent my afternoon checking out this flick which opens in theatres since Nov 17.

The Story
Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven-a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model. But things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father's "guts and grit" as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures-from tiny Krill to giant Elephant Seals-to put things right.
From the director who does Babe, one of my favourite childhood film,Happy Feet Two does not disappoint me from it Sequel in 2006,in fact it wow me,but not to the extent from Babe.

I think the story plot looks great where its main purpose is to share
an environmental message about Climate Change with us.
However,on the other hand, some characters were created just for the sake of creating it.
For example, the Krills are one example.
It just gives the impression that these 2 joker Krills just wants to fight for their survival by moving up the food chain.

But I would say that I was impressed by Erik's vocal in the end, about his dad as a hero,a man of honour.
Overall, Happy Feet 2  is a film for families, but it's easily forgotten due to its average content.

Rating: 3/5 Stars
Value for 3D?: If you are up for perspective effect, yes.
(I watched it in 2D,but I find that it looks REAL flat in 2D for some effects.)
